C’è un momento, davanti a certe moto, in cui la destinazione smette di essere importante.
La Ténéré appartiene a quel mondo fatto di mappe piegate, polvere sui fianchetti, benzina cercata lontano da casa e strade scelte più per curiosità che per comodità.
Nel 1984 la XT600 aveva già dentro tutto questo: un grande monocilindrico, forme nate per andare lontano e quella presenza asciutta, quasi spartana, che ancora oggi profuma di viaggio vero.
Non serve immaginare il deserto.
Basta guardarla per sentire la voglia di partire.
