The International Conference of Community Psychology (ICCP) is an international event that gathers psychologists, scholars and activists from the whole world to discuss and interact on community psychology and social change. The 9th ICCP (International Conference of Community Psychology) is an international event that gathers psychologists, scholars and activists from the whole world to discuss
and interact on community psychology and social change. The first international conference was held in Puerto Rico, and conferences have since been held biannually in Portugal, Mexico, Spain, Brasil, South Africa, Chile and online in Australia. Over the years the conference has fostered important trans-national networks of people that have produced a number of special issues, papers, presentations and other work (See https://internationalcommunitypsychology.com/)
The 9th ICCP will be held virtual and in Naples (Italy) organized by the Community Psychology Lab of the Department of Humanities at the Naples University Federico II, together with the Community Psychology representatives of the most significant Italian Universities, SIPCO (Italian Association of Community Psychology),ECPA(European Association of Community Psychologists) and local association pursuing shared and similar goals. We are a network of Universities strongly engaged in Community Psychology with longstanding collaborations with SIPCO and ECPA. Some of us are members of SCRA and many of our teams have participated in all previous ICCPs around the world. The University Federico II will host the event and PSY-COM will be the technical supporting association.
