Dal 2011 Kernel promuove sperimentazioni ed espressioni artistiche tecnologiche che coinvolgono il pubblico in esperienze nuove e immersive capaci di valorizzare luoghi urbani di valenza simbolica, artistica e culturale. Kernel crea opportunità per artisti conosciuti a livello internazionale e giovani talenti chiamati a interagire nell’interpretazione dello spazio pubblico con le loro visioni artistiche. In dieci anni di Kernel Festival più di 200 artisti hanno esibito le loro creazioni e produzioni… e vogliamo mostrarne sempre di più.

AreaOdeon celebra i dieci anni del Kernel con un nuovo approccio alla formula tradizionale dell’evento, nel rispetto delle normative di sicurezza dovute all’emergenza Covid-19. Una diversa impostazione, dal respiro più ampio, che garantisce al pubblico, agli artisti e a tutti gli enti coinvolti l’occasione per tornare a vivere la città attraverso l’arte nelle strade, con una serie di eventi gratuiti diffusi sul territorio, per un periodo che va da giugno a novembre. Niente calca, nessuna fretta, c’è spazio e tempo per godercela tutti!

Since 2011 Kernel has been promoting technological experiments and artistic expressions that involve the public in new and immersive experiences capable of enhancing urban places of symbolic, artistic and cultural value. Kernel creates opportunities for internationally known artists and young talents called to interact in the interpretation of the public space with their artistic visions. In ten years of Kernel Festival more than 200 artists have exhibited their creations and productions … and we want to show more and more.

AreaOdeon celebrates ten years of the Kernel with a new approach to the traditional formula of the event, in compliance with the safety regulations due to the Covid-19 emergency. A different setting, with a wider scope, which guarantees the public, the artists and all the bodies involved the opportunity to return to experience the city through art in the streets, with a series of free events spread throughout the territory, for a period which runs from June to November.
