🏛️ Fondazione EUCENTRE protagonista alla 18ª Conferenza Europea di Ingegneria Sismica (ECEE 2026) a Berlino!

Dal 14 al 18 settembre 2026, la città di Berlino ospiterà la 18th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering (ECEE2026), il principale appuntamento quadriennale europeo dedicato alla riduzione del rischio sismico, all'ingegneria strutturale e alla mitigazione dei rischi naturali.

Anche quest'anno EUCENTRE scende in campo con una presenza scientifica straordinaria.
I numeri della nostra partecipazione:
🗣️ 15 Ricercatori EUCENTRE relatori ufficiali nelle sessioni tecniche e nelle theme lectures;
📑 21 Lavori presentati direttamente come primi autori e speaker;
🤝 23 Contributi scientifici realizzati in co-autorità e collaborazione con prestigiosi atenei e centri di ricerca nazionali e internazionali;
📌 44 Lavori complessivi, che spaziano dalle prove sperimentali su tavola vibrante e monitoraggio intelligente delle infrastrutture, fino a piattaforme digitali di rischio multi-hazard e strategie di retrofitting.

Un risultato che testimonia l'impegno costante e l'eccellenza scientifica della nostra Fondazione nella ricerca applicata e nella salvaguardia del territorio.

The deadlines to join the Master of Science (Laurea Magistrale) programme for the academic year 2026/2027 are approaching. The deadline that applies to you depends on where your degree was awarded:

DEGREE AWARDED IN ITALY
For students with a degree awarded by an Italian institution who meet the requirements for direct enrolment:
📌 Enrollment deadline: 30 October 2026.

DEGREE AWARDED OUTSIDE ITALY
For EU and non-EU applicants residing in Italy with a degree awarded by a non-Italian institution:
📌 Last application window: 1–8 September 2026.

The ROSE School second semester will begin on 2 September 2026 with Seismic Assessment of Masonry Structures, taught by Prof. Francesco Graziotti and worth 3 ECTS credits, running until 11 September 2026.

The course examines the seismic performance of existing masonry buildings, from construction materials and building typologies to failure mechanisms and structural response under earthquake loading. Lectures are combined with case studies and practical exercises, covering both simplified and advanced assessment approaches as well as strengthening and retrofit strategies aimed at improving seismic safety.

A postgraduate education is an investment in your future - and financial support can make that journey more accessible.

For the 2026/2027 edition of the ROSE Advanced Master's in Earthquake Engineering, up to 8 full tuition waivers are available for outstanding applicants.

In addition, thanks to the GEM Foundation, one outstanding candidate from a low-income or lower-middle-income country may receive financial support for accommodation and living expenses during the programme.

📚 What will you learn at the ROSE Advanced Master's?

The ROSE Advanced Master's is an advanced postgraduate programme designed for engineers and graduates interested in advancing their academic or professional path.

The programme strengthens theoretical foundations and develops advanced analytical and practical skills in earthquake engineering.

Students will develop expertise in the following key areas:

🔹 Seismic hazard and ground motion
🔹 Structural analysis and seismic design
🔹 Seismic assessment, protection and strengthening
🔹 Seismic risk and loss estimation.

A distinctive feature of the programme is its intensive modular teaching format: courses are delivered in sequence, without overlapping, allowing students to focus fully on one topic at a time and interact directly with internationally recognised professors and experts.

The learning experience is completed by an internship of approximately one month, offering valuable experience in a research or professional environment.
