As a committee, together with our dedicated collaborators, we took it upon ourselves to clean the beach immediately after our event. This is the view of the beach since the Monday after the event 💪🗑️

The 1st edition of Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint, combined with the friendly competition Beach Sprint CLASH, has been an amazing success.

It was an honor to have 10 european Nations for the Coupe plus USA, New Zealand, Germany and Spain for the CLASH. This has definitely been the most global event we’ve ever hosted and organized.

An extraordinary success for the 1st edition of the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint! 🏆🌊

Sunday was marked by an epic water sports event, the first edition of the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint. Despite concerns about the weather, the competition was an incredible success, with athletes facing waves and breathtaking challenges.

Today, water sports enthusiasts gathered on the beach to witness the first edition of the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint. This exceptional event was an exciting showcase of skill, determination, and sportsmanship, with athletes from all over Europe giving their best to compete and make history.

The time trials for the first edition of Beach Sprint Coupe de la Jeunesse have just concluded.

Even though the sea allowed us to hold the race today, the waves are not lacking in challenging the athletes' skills.
We've witnessed some intense competition so far, and we can only expect more in the finals!

The Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint officially (and finally!) kicked off!

In the time trials the athletes will start 1 by 1, racing a slalom in the first course, turning on the last buoy and going to the other course, then return to the beach.
From the quarterfinals the format will be the standard one, 1 vs 1.

While the sun's rays energize us, our ledwall and some lively music keep us entertained through the morning. And guess what? Our very own Marc seized the opportunity to lead a workout session to the rhythm of music!

The Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint has officially started 💥

Today marked the grand opening ceremony of the first ever Beach Sprint Coupe!

Masterfully hosted by Luca Broggini, a renowned figure in our regattas and the voice behind recent Olympics broadcasts, the ceremony unfolded against the backdrop of a striking stage and a colossal LED wall, set to project the race action tomorrow.

A significant highlight was the assembly of participating nations forming a circle before the LED wall, each proudly holding their national flags. A moment where we really felt the true spirit of this international competition.
Notably, alongside the main event, we had the Beach Sprint CLASH nations participating, testifying to the international flavor that has graced our shores this weekend.

Distinguished guests, including Gary Harris, president of Coupe de la Jeunesse, Cristiano Pullini, tourism councilor, and Luciana Reale, Beach Sprint advisor for the Italian Rowing Federation, took the stage to express their enthusiasm for this event. They emphasized its significance for the global coastal rowing movement and regional tourism.

To cap off the presentation, all participating nations were summoned to the stage for a heartfelt gift box from Filippi Shipyard.

The evening drew to a close with a relaxed gathering at the restaurant, featuring a buffet and appetizers, all enjoyed under a captivating sunset that offered a breathtaking view of the coast.
