European Dodgeball Championships 2018 - Lignano Sabbiadoro

Since 2010 EDBF has held the annual European Dodgeball Championships, the Dodgeball Euros. Friday 18th August to Sunday 20th August

This summer nations from across Europe will converge in Scotland to take part in the eagerly anticipated 8th European Dodgeball Championships. Hosted by the Scotland Highlanders International Dodgeball team in association with the UK Dodgeball Association, the European Dodgeball Federation and the World Dodgeball Association the European Championships 2017 promises to be a feast of entertainment f

or dodgeball fans across the continent. For the second time, the European Dodgeball Championships will act as a qualifying event for the Dodgeball World Cup to be held in New York City. The top 3 nations from the mixed and women’s categories and the top 3 nations plus England from the men’s category will qualify for the 2018 Dodgeball World Cup.

Trust us, we wouldn't want to do this, but it's time to say bye and give the Euro experience a closure.
A heartfelt message from us at Associazione Italiana Dodgeball - AIDB

If one year ago you'd told us Euros were going to be just half as good at it's been, we would not have believed it. It was not an easy journey but we've always worked hard in every moment to try and give you an unforgettable experience, as European dodgeball deserves.
Your compliments kept on coming, from months and days before on social media, at the first visits in the venue, and luckily they did not stop until the end. Knowing how it all went well and how much you appreciated it couldn't make us any more proud.
We've read lots of comparison to previous tournaments but that's not relevant, we're happy if we helped dodgeball's development, and we hope future ones will be even better.

Thanks to everyone who worked with us on the event: from the staff at Bella Italia to the streaming company, from the commentators to the speakers, from the referees to the photographers and so on. Thanks to all the athletes and spectators, for being part of something similar. And why not, thanks to us, cause we'll never forget what we've been able to do.
