Molto prima che "avantgarde black metal" diventasse un tag di genere, i DHG/Dødheimsgard Official avevano già iniziato a smantellare l'idea stessa di cosa potesse essere il black metal. Da oltre trent'anni, questi pionieri norvegesi seguono un percorso tutto loro, dando vita a una discografia in continua trasformazione, dove caos, psichedelia, sonorità industriali e una sperimentazione senza compromessi convivono in perfetto equilibrio.

Irrequieti, intransigenti e impossibili da prevedere, i DHG continuano a rappresentare una delle forze creative più audaci e influenti della musica estrema.

Ci sono band che incarnano perfettamente lo spirito del Frantic Fest. I Dødheimsgard sono una di queste. Portarli sul nostro palco è un autentico privilegio e non vediamo l'ora di accogliere una delle realtà più visionarie e coraggiose mai emerse dalla scena metal norvegese.

Long before "avantgarde black metal" became a genre tag, Dødheimsgard were already dismantling the very idea of what black metal could be. For more than three decades, the Norwegian pioneers have followed no roadmap but their own, forging a body of work where chaos, psychedelia, industrial textures and fearless experimentation exist in constant transformation.

Restless, uncompromising and impossible to predict, DHG remain one of extreme music's most daring and influential creative forces.
Some bands simply belong at Frantic Fest. Dødheimsgard are one of them. Bringing them to our stage is a genuine privilege, and we can't wait to welcome one of the boldest and most visionary acts ever to emerge from the Norwegian metal scene.

Vent'anni dopo 'Watching from a Distance', l'attesa è finita.

Dopo aver dato vita nel 2006 a uno dei capolavori assoluti del doom metal, rimasto per troppo tempo patrimonio di pochi, i Warning sono pronti a scrivere un nuovo capitolo della loro storia con 'Rituals of Shame', pubblicato lo scorso giugno da Relapse Records. Il nuovo album raccoglie l'eredità del suo leggendario predecessore, sviluppandone il linguaggio fatto di vulnerabilità, intensità emotiva e melodie profondamente evocative.

Quattro anni dopo la sua esibizione al Frantic Fest con i 40 Watt Sun, Patrick Walker torna sul nostro palco con i Warning, protagonisti del loro debutto assoluto in Italia, portando sul palco il peso di un'eredità unica e l'emozione di una nuova era attesa da troppo tempo.

Twenty years after 'Watching from a Distance', the wait is finally over.

After creating in 2006, one of doom metal's absolute masterpieces, long regarded as one of the genre's best-kept secrets, Warning are ready to write a new chapter in their story with 'Rituals of Shame', released last June via Relapse Records. The new album embraces the legacy of its legendary predecessor, expanding upon its unmistakable language of vulnerability, emotional intensity and deeply evocative melodies.

Four years after his appearance at Frantic Fest with 40 Watt Sun, Patrick Walker returns with Warning for the band's first-ever performance in Italy, bringing the weight of a singular legacy and the excitement of a long-awaited new chapter.

Dal sottosuolo di Göteborg al Frantic Fest. 𝗣𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮.

Nati nel 1994 come progetto parallelo di alcuni membri degli At The Gates per dare libero sfogo alle loro fantasie d-beat, gli Skitsystem hanno presto smesso di essere un semplice side project, affermandosi come una delle realtà più rispettate della scena crust svedese. Tra le loro fila ha militato per i primi 10 anni anche Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg, la cui scomparsa nel 2025 ha lasciato un vuoto enorme nella scena metal e punk internazionale.

Gli SKITSYSTEM suoneranno per la prima volta in Italia nella giornata conclusiva del Frantic Fest 2026, insieme ai connazionali Wolfbrigade e The Crown, agli headliner Mayhem e a tanti altri protagonisti di quella che si preannuncia come una delle giornate più intense nella storia del festival.

From the underground of Göteborg to Frantic Fest. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆.

Formed in 1994 as a side project by members of At The Gates to indulge their d-beat fantasies, SKITSYSTEM quickly outgrew their origins, evolving far beyond a mere side project to become one of the most respected names in the Swedish crust scene. Their line-up also featured Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg for the first 10 years of the band. His passing in 2025 left a huge void across the international metal and punk community.

SKITSYSTEM will make their long-awaited Italian debut on the final day of Frantic Fest 2026, alongside fellow Swedes Wolfbrigade and The Crown, headliners Mayhem, and many other outstanding acts on what promises to be one of the most intense days in the festival's history.

Ci sono artisti che appartengono a un genere. E poi c'è Igorrr!

Nato come progetto solista del polistrumentista e produttore francese Gautier Serre, il progetto Igorrr si è evoluto fino a diventare un vero e proprio collettivo. Per Serre, Bach e Chopin convivono naturalmente con Cannibal Co**se, Aphex Twin e Meshuggah, dando forma a uno degli universi sonori più originali della musica estrema contemporanea. E se per ottenere il suono che ha in mente serve registrare un pianoforte con un escavatore o trasformare una gigantesca incudine in uno strumento a percussione, lui lo fa davvero.

Dopo aver lasciato il segno al Frantic Fest nel 2018, ritornano come headliner del 14 agosto con il nuovo album 'Amen', capitolo oscuro e ambizioso di un percorso artistico che continua a sfidare ogni convenzione.

There are artists who belong to a genre. And then there is IGORRR.

Originally conceived as the solo project of French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre, Igorrr has evolved into a fully-fledged collective. For Serre, Bach and Chopin coexist as naturally as Cannibal Co**se, Aphex Twin and Meshuggah, shaping one of the most original sonic universes in contemporary extreme music. And if achieving the sound he envisions means recording a piano with an excavator or turning a giant anvil into a percussion instrument, he actually does it.

After leaving a lasting impression at Frantic Fest in 2018, they return as headliner on August 14 with their new album 'Amen', a dark and ambitious new chapter in an artistic journey that continues to defy every convention.
