From April 10 to 12, we joined the Fontstand Conference in Berlin, one of the most anticipated moments each year for the global type design community and independent foundries. This year, hosted at silent green Kulturquartier .green , the event once again confirmed itself as a key space for dialogue and new perspectives on type.
Our team, represented by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini , Francesco Canovaro , and Andrea Tartarelli , actively took part in three days of conference alongside some of the most influential voices in the field.
From the work and insights of Tony Brook co-founder of SPIN , to David Pearson , an inspiring figure known for his work with Penguin , to the editorial vision of Francesco Franchi , and the eclectic contributions of Marta Cerdà , the conference offered a rich and engaging overview of the contemporary typographic landscape.
It was also an opportunity to reconnect with long-time friends such as Ariane Spanier , and to spend time with new collaborators like Sina Otto .otto_studio , with whom we look forward to sharing an upcoming project. Meeting again with Resistenza type and its founders continues to be, as always, a moment of genuine exchange and enjoyment.
Special congratulations to Peter Biľak and Andrej Krátky for creating and developing an event that, year after year, keeps growing while remaining a true point of convergence for the type design community.
