Here is the medal of the Florence Marathon 2023! 🏅✨
A circle that contains the symbols of the most significant places of the Marathon route, with in the center the powerful Mercury, the protector of athletes in mythology. The god of speed, portrayed with high heels, winged sandals.
Susanna Alisi, our designer, took inspiration from one of the most famous Mercury in art: the Giambologna, preserved at the Bargello Museum!

A circle encapsulating symbols of the most significant landmarks along the Marathon route, with the mighty Mercury at its core – the guardian deity of athletes in mythology. The god of speed, depicted in talaria, winged sandals.
Our designer, Susanna Alisi, drew inspiration from one of the most renowned Mercuries in art: that of Giambologna, housed at the Bargello Museum!
