The Inaugural Season of the Lunigiana International Music Festival will be held in the medieval town of Fivizzano, Tuscany, from June 18-28. Singers, pianists, string players will be invited from all around the world for 10 days of intense work with well-known artists, including members of the Met Opera Orchestra, professors at the New York University and international concert musicians. The Festi

val will be a wonderful opportunity for every student, having the possibility to play in concert with their own professors, to have Italian Language Courses and to participate in the competition for soloists and orchestra.

A beautiful day for our Artistic Director Chantal Balestri and President Andrea Rossi to meet in the Festival headquarters, Fivizzano, with the General Director of the Varsovia Simphony in Poland, Janusz Marynowski.

Maestro Marynowski attended several concerts during the 2025 Festival and offered an inspiring seminar to our participants, leaving a lasting impression on our community.

Following this meaningful exchange, we are proud to have begun a collaboration.

We look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks to the Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance in London for such a nice welcome on Monday, March 23, 2026. We were pleased to introduce the Festival to a very enthusiastic crowd of students who were eager to know more.

Thanks to Prof. Nic Pendlebury, our viola, chamber music and contemporary music faculty, to organize this event. Thanks to our Artistic Director Chantal Balestri to lead the presentation. And thanks especially to Sophia and Christina, violinists and alumni 2025, who decided to attend to continue to show us appreciation and support.

We will continue to build bridges and keep them alive.

The Lunigiana International Music Festival is proud to collaborate with the Rotary Club Lunigiana to offer a special scholarship dedicated to talented young musicians.

This scholarship helps make possible what can sometimes seem out of reach: the opportunity to study, perform, and grow artistically in an international environment.

Over the years, thanks to this support, young musicians from different parts of the world have been able to live a truly life-changing experience.
