Settimane Musicali Gustav Mahler Musikwochen Gustav Mahler Music Weeks
An international classical music festival
in the Dolomites
11.07.-05.09.2026
Unique since 1981

The 46th Gustav Mahler Music Weeks came to an end on 5 September with a very special concert by the Gustav Mahler Academy Orchestra and the originalklang project, conducted by Philipp von Steinaecker

Together with Swedish soprano Johanna Wallroth , the musicians performed Mahler’s 4th Symphony and three of his songs on historical instruments from around 1900.

A particular highlight was the use of a Welte-Mignon grand piano with original piano rolls recorded by Gustav Mahler himself in 1902.
The concert was a coproduction of the Euregio Cultural Center & Guesthouse Toblach Foundation and the Busoni-Mahler Foundation Bolzano.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the final concert of the 2026 Gustav Mahler Music Weeks!
