Soon the time will come! Once lake Resia is covered by a solid layer of ice, we can finally snowkite again. ❄️🌨

Bald ist es so weit! Sobald der Reschensee von einer festen Eisschicht bedecket ist, kann man endlich wieder Snowkiten. ❄️🌨

Presto verrà il momento! Quando il lago di Resia si ricopre di uno strato di ghiaccio, si può finalmente tornare a fare lo snowkite. ❄️🌨

Snowkiting is a winter sport in which you are gliding over the snow with the help of a kite. The surfboard, which we know from kiting in the summer, is exchanged for skis or a snowboard. The only other things you need are wind, ice and snow. It is precisely these characteristics that make Lake Resia the venue for the Snowkite Open every year. 🏂⛷

Snowkiting ist eine Wintersportart, bei der man sich von einem Drachen über den Schnee ziehen lässt. Das Surfbrett, welches wir vom Kiten im Sommer kennen, wird gegen Skier oder ein Snowboard ausgetauscht. Das Einzige, was man sonst noch benötigt, sind Wind, Eis und Schnee. Genau diese Eigenschaften machen den Reschensee alljährlich zum Austragungsort der Snowkite Meisterschaften. 🏂⛷

Lo snowkite è uno sport invernale in cui ci si lascia trascinare sulla neve da un aquilone. La tavola da surf, che conosciamo per il kite in estate, viene sostituita dagli sci o dallo snowboard. Gli unici altri elementi necessari sono il vento, il ghiaccio e la neve. Sono proprio queste le caratteristiche che fanno il Lago di Resia come sede dei Campionati di Snowkite ogni anno. 🏂⛷

We are looking back on a successful Snowkite Open at the beginning of the year and are already excited for the next edition in February 2023.

Wir blicken zurück auf ein gelungenes Snowkite Open Anfang des Jahres und freuen uns schon auf die nächste Auflage im Februar 2023.

Ripensiamo al grande successo dell'Int. Snowkite Open all'inizio dell'anno. E non vediamo l'ora di vedervi alla prossima edizione in febbraio 2023.
