Jacopo Di Cera is an Italian visual artist working across photography, material art, and digital practices. After training in Rome, he won the 2010 National Geographic competition. In 2016 he developed “Photomaterism,” combining photography and matter, with To the End of the Sea, a project on migration in Lampedusa exhibited at venues including Paris Photo, PAN Naples, and the Venice Biennale 2017. His work Suspended and Infinity has been shown internationally, and in 2025 he created Retreat at the Dubai Art Fair on climate change.
Last year we had the pleasure of hosting Italian artist Jacopo Di Cera, who led a workshop on shadows and perspectives, inviting participants to reflect on point of view.
From this experience, a unique artwork was created, showing how each element is essential and how, together, they form a larger, interconnected ecosystem.
