There are events that accelerate the future: Macfrut 2026 was exactly that.

🤝Three days of genuine connections, vision, and tangible innovation, all captured in the faces and handshakes of 1,300 exhibitors and buyers from over 80 countries.
📈 A 12% increase in international attendance tells a story of growth and real impact, transforming the Rimini Expo Centre into the global hub of innovation and networking.
🚜 The entire fresh produce supply chain was fully represented through themed exhibitions and scientific conferences of international significance.
📱 A digital community with over 10 million views, a sign that agritech and the fresh produce sector know how to speak a contemporary and engaging language.

Special thanks go to the ICE Agency for its extraordinary collaboration, which enabled us to effectively expand our presence in foreign markets, bringing delegations from every continent to Rimini, as well as to AICS (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation) for Italy’s commitment to sustainable agriculture. The 43rd edition has come to a close, reaffirming Macfrut’s status as a global benchmark event for the fruit and vegetable industry.

The numbers speak for themselves: a 12% increase in international buyers and visitors from over 80 countries, and more than 1,400 exhibitors gathered in a format that is unique in the world.

Our deepest gratitude goes to those who saw Macfrut as an event not to be missed: institutions and associations from around the world, exhibitors, buyers, and the many visitors.

We are already looking to the future. President Patrizio Neri announces an important development: Macfrut and Growtech (Informa), the leading trade fair for pre-harvest solutions, are in the final stages of a strategic partnership that will see the two events held together starting in 2027: a single platform to better represent the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain.

A new trade show layout is also on the way, designed to be more user-friendly for visitors and to multiply business opportunities for all industry players.

The future of the fruit and vegetable sector is shaped every year at Macfrut!

🥑 The avocado takes center stage at Macfrut2026.

When we came up with the name “Mango and Avocado Explosion,” we were certain it would prove to be a real explosion... of interest!

Over 200 people stayed abreast of industry trends by attending conferences and case studies from around the world.
About 100 business meetings transformed the space into a hub of surprising energy and concrete development opportunities for players across the entire supply chain.

Students from IAL Emilia Romagna, IAL FVG, and IAL Lombardia srl Impresa Sociale turned avocados into a gourmet menu by competing in a cooking contest.
