Con profondo dolore
abbiamo appreso la straziante notizia della scomparsa di Naoki Itagaki, caro amico e Campione del Mondo in carica di Ala rigida, tragicamente deceduto in un incidente durante un volo a Buchenberg, in Germania.

Naoki non sarà con noi a Gemona per difendere il suo titolo mondiale. Una perdita immensa per tutta la comunità del deltaplano.

I nostri pensieri e il nostro affetto vanno alla sua famiglia, ai suoi compagni di squadra e a tutti coloro che lo hanno conosciuto e amato.

we received the heartbreaking news of the passing of Naoki Itagaki, dear friend and reigning Rigid Wing World Champion, who was tragically killed in an accident while flying at Buchenberg, Germany.

Naoki will not be with us in Gemona to defend his world title. An immeasurable loss for the entire hang gliding community.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go to his family, his teammates, and all those who knew and loved him.

L'Italia si presenta a Gemona con la squadra più numerosa in gara: 13 atleti azzurri pronti a difendere i colori di casa — 9 in Classe 1 e 4 in Classe 5.
Ma non è solo una questione di numeri.

Nel 2022, al Monte Cucco, la squadra italiana ha conquistato il titolo europeo a squadre di Classe 1. E Alex Ploner ( #101) ha aggiunto il titolo individuale, diventando Campione Europeo.

Adesso il palcoscenico è Gemona del Friuli. Le loro montagne. Il loro vento. Il loro pubblico.

Orcolat Trail a Bordano.
Un Trail con 219 partecipanti, 15 km con 1200 MT di dislivello positivo ed altrettanti di dislivello negativo.
Un' esperienza bellissima di collaborazione tra ASD, Pro Loco, Gruppo Alpini.... Un' evento perfetto per la meteo e riuscita a 360°.
Sinergia e rete dovrebbero essere degli obbiettivi per molti!

Divieto assoluto di volo all' interno dello spazio aereo sopra Gemona come da NOTAM.

Si informa che per la giornata di domani, domenica 3 maggio, è stato istituito un NOTAM di divieto di sorvolo (W1366/26) sull'area di Gemona del Friuli, in occasione delle commemorazioni per il memoriale del terremoto, dalle ore 13:00 alle ore 20:00 (UTC 11-18), da quota suolo a 915mt AMSL (3000ft).
La restrizione si rende necessaria per garantire la sicurezza delle operazioni aeree legate agli eventi pubblici e la possibile presenza di aeromobili istituzionali.
Invitiamo tutti i piloti alla massima attenzione e al rigoroso rispetto del divieto per garantire la sicurezza propria e altrui.
Ci saranno controlli da parte delle autorità preposte.

Please be informed that for tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd, a NOTAM has been issued (W1366/26) prohibiting overflights in the Gemona del Friuli area for the earthquake memorial commemorations, from 13:00 to 20:00 (11-18 UTC), from ground level up to 915m AMSL (3000ft).
This restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of aerial operations related to public events and the potential presence of institutional aircraft.
We invite all pilots to pay maximum attention and strictly comply with the prohibition to ensure their own safety and that of others.
There will be checks by the competent authorities.
