Dopo alcuni anni di fermo, siamo tornati ad Assisi per il festival Assisi Suono Sacro.
Un evento molto speciale che vuole avvicinare le persone alla figura di Maria, attraverso le voci della soprano Sólrún Bragadóttir, Sólrún Braga e dell'attrice Luisa Naso.
Il concerto di canto a ca****la, con improvvisazione di brani classici e sacri, sarà intervallato da letture di preghiere e testi, tutti dedicati alla figura di Maria.
L'arte della voce si fonde con l'arte della pittura sacra; per l'occasione sarà presentata l'opera dell'artista David Petri intitolata "La sacra famiglia" a cura del critico d'arte Andrea Baffoni.

Ci siamo. L'evento che stsera chiude l'edizione 2017 del festival Assisi Suono Sacro ha per noi di Adagio ha un significato molto importante. Si chiude un cerchio. Tutto partì da Fatima nel gennaio del 2014, dal nostro viaggio in quel posto magico. Da allora Lei ci ha sempre guidato, mandandoci quei segnali che abbiamo seguito per arrivare a portare oggi un evento molto speciale nella sua casa, il primo Santuario in Italia dedicato alla Madonna di Fatima, nel bellissimo borgo dell'Umbria al confine con la Toscana, Città delle Pieve. Grazie alla dedizione e alla passione per il suo lavoro, Karen Lauria Saillant stasera ci farà emozionare con il gruppo dei giovani soprano dell International Opera Theater of Philadelphia e alle musiche del compositore Mariano Garau. Grazie ad Andrea Ceccomori, direttore artistico del festival, per abbracciare e condividere le nostre proposte.
Assisi, Città della Pieve e Philadelphia. insieme nell'anno del centenario della sua prima apparizione.

ASSISI SUONO SACRO 2017
We are so proud to be part of the 2017 edition of this magic festival that for the firs time will end with an event in another town, Città della Pieve, with a very special event dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the apparitions of the Madonna di Fatima. The event created by Karen Lauria Saillant will be realized in the Santuario of the Madonna di Fatima the 6th of August at 9 p.m.

We are very proud of being the light of this special event. Our Lady of Fatima guided us to celebrate her in Italy in this 2017 in Umbria, after 100 years from the first appearance.

Fatima Centennial 2017 & International Opera Theater of Philadelphia are proud to announce that world renowned sacred music composer, Mariano Garau, will compose the music for our 4th world premiere cantata which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Apparition of The Madonna of Fatima to the young shepherds: "I Bambini di Fatima e il Miracolo del Sole" (The Children of Fatima & The Miracle of the Sun"). With libretto by Karen Lauria Saillant & Christian Bygott & Italian translation by Maria Luisa Meo, the premiere will occur on August 6, 2017 in Santuario Di Fatima in the gorgeous Comune di Città della Pieve where you find the first shrine to Fatima in all of Italy. The production is under the auspices of Assisi Suono Sacro Festival and Adagio Art Agency and will feature beautiful English mezzo soprano, Jennifer Parker, as The Madonna and 11 children from The Philadelphia Area singing the roles of the children and The Virtues named by Hildegard.
