These are the words of one of the participants, expressing the experience and emotions experienced by each of us at the return of Babylon Apulia Festival

We hope these images convey this beauty, even though there is no greater depth than having experienced it, with our eyes and our hearts.

Thank you to our students and participants, who are the lifeblood that brought everything back to life, in our desire to share part of our journey and offer an experience of growth, joy, and excellence.

The eclectic and elegant Berbara Boulos with us for the Flower Show!

Barbaras curiosity about movement led her to explore martial arts, yoga and many dance styles over several decades of practice.

Her dance is a vehicle of storytelling inspired by the spirit of the music.

She will inspire us on stage by moving as we move through the transition of life's challenges, where dance is a celebration of life itself in all its nuances.

The lovely Claudia Maia again with us at Babylon Apulia Festival!

Meet her on the Flower Show on Friday 🌺

Maia began her journey into the world of Middle Eastern dance about 15 years ago, and thanks to Babylon,
she had the opportunity to meet those who would later become her mentors: Chiara Saccomanno, Mohamed Kazafy, and Nesma.

She is honored and grateful to have collaborated with them on several projects, including Chiara Saccomanno's Faraonica, the Kazafy Troupe Italy, and Nesma's The Andalus Project "Bazamat."

This year, she danced as a guest and was part of the teaching team at the Spring Oriental Dreamcamp organized by Mateja Mikulan, and co-organized the summer version in Cagliari.

In 2020, she and her partner, Sonia Limbardi, opened the Eshal dance school in Cagliari, Sardinia, where together they instill their love for this art form in their students with great passion and respect.

She is certified in NATEC, specializing in Neo-Andalusi and Muwashahat styles.

Her artistry reflects years of dedication and collaboration in Nesma-Al-Andalus acclaimed productions in Spain, including Bazamat and Enta Omri. Passionate about Al-Andalus heritage, she continues to explore its depth as a lifelong journey.

"I am deeply grateful to my mentor, Nesma Al-Andalus, whose guidance and vision opened the doors to the world of Neo-Andalusi dance. Her inspiration continues to shape my path and passion every day."

Thrilled to announce Martinica Ferrara Strova, guest artist for the Babylon Apulia Festival "Flower Show"

Daughter of art, Martinica has successfully combined her training in Oriental Dance and Flamenco into an original exploration of Arabic Flamenco, distinguished by her theatrical sensitivity and expressive intensity.

Co-director of the Teatro del Respiro and the Omphalos School with Maria Strova, she has presented her works at festivals, theaters, and television programs, distinguishing herself for her originality and interpretative power.

We can't wait to enjoy all our guest talents on the stage!

We are pleased to introduce Silvia Martinelli, guest artist during the flower show on Friday, October 24th.

With over 25 years of experience, Silvia is a teacher and dancer from Tuscany. She began her artistic journey in 1994 in England and has since studied with the most prestigious Egyptian masters. Her career has led her to teach and perform both in Italy and abroad, participating in festivals, workshops, and major artistic collaborations.

We can't wait to see her talent on stage!
