It wasn’t the beginning — it was the first embrace.
In 2022, after years of distance, so many young people — economists, changemakers and dreamers — finally met in Assisi.
They came from every continent to give faces, voices and stories to the Economy of Francesco.

Today, that same spirit is walking again — towards Castel Gandolfo,
towards a new Jubilee,
towards an economy that breathes, heals and frees.

Today is our day.
The day of those who walk for a disarmed economy.

Francis is not just the name we carry:
he is the source from which our gaze is born.

In his poverty without resentment, we found a different way of inhabiting the world.
In his boundless fraternity, we learned to recognize the face of the other.
In his Canticle, we heard — perhaps for the first time — the voice of the Earth.

Today we celebrate by renewing our “yes” to an economy that does not wound, does not hoard, does not exclude.

🌍 At the end of November, in Castel Gandolfo, we’ll bring all of this into the heart of the Jubilee.
But today, we simply say:

thank you, Francis. For showing us that we can live — and build an economy — unarmed.
