*Appachu Legend Cup* *2025 Ends with a Thrilling Finale; Freedom Boys Hundi Crowned Champions via Toss*
The much-anticipated Appachu Legend Cup 2025 came to a spectacular close as Freedom Boys Hundi clinched the championship title through a toss after the final match ended in a heart-stopping tie.
Cricket fans were treated to an edge-of-the-seat contest as the two talented teams from Kodagu, Freedom Boys Hundi and Team PEPSI, battled it out in a gripping final that went down to the very last ball. With no clear winner after the match concluded, a toss decided the champions — crowning Freedom Boys Hundi as the title holders.
Team PEPSI emerged as the First Runner-Up, taking home a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 75,000, while the champions, Freedom Boys Hundi, also received a trophy and shared the prize.
Out of the top 8 teams from across the state, it was a proud moment for Kodagu, as both finalists hailed from the region, showcasing local cricketing excellence.
Coastal Malpe, Malpe secured the position of Second Runner-Up, winning a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
YSCC Periyapatna finished in Fourth Place, earning a trophy for their consistent performance.

*ಕೊಡಗು ಮೂಲದ ಎರಡು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ತಂಡಗಳಾದ ಫ್ರೀಡಮ್ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಹುಂಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಟೀಮ್ ಪೆಪ್ಸಿ* ನಡುವಿನ ಈ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ರೋಮಾಂಚನದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಕೊನೆಯ ಬಾಲ್ ವರೆಗೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದರು. ಪಂದ್ಯವು ಟೈ ಆದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಾಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
*ಟೀಮ್ ಪೆಪ್ಸಿ ತಂಡವು ಮೊದಲ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್* ಆಗಿ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರೂ. 75,000 ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿತು.
ಫ್ರೀಡಮ್ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಹುಂಡಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ತಂಡದಾಗಿ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಹುಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಪಡೆದಿತು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದೆಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಎಂಟು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ತಂಡಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳು ಫೈನಲ್ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನಿತ್ತು.
*ಕೋಸ್ಟಲ್ ಮಲ್ಪೆ, ಮಲ್ಪೆ ತಂಡವು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್* ಆಗಿ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ. 25,000 ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿತು.
