BBFC and ROW Combined XI Top Indian Elite League.🔝

If you take a scan at the list of Hero Elite League winners from the last 19 years, there's one team that stands out. In 2021-22 Elite League was won by BBFC and ROW Combined XI. How on earth did that happen?
Having been promoted to Elite League in 2020, BBFC and ROW Combined XI surprised everyone by finishing fourth and reaching the final of the Thane district Football league, losing to Seawoods FC. The next season they reached the cup final again, only to this time lose to Iron Born FC.
BBFC and ROW Combined XI might have been a steadily improving team, but to say that no one expected them to challenge for the title in 2021-22 is an understatement. These were the peak years of Elite League. Strong Teams like Team B of Jamshedpur FC, Football Club of Mumbaikars and Reliance Foundation also participated in the league.
it was BBFC and ROW combined XI who were the early pacemakers in Elite League and they somehow managed to shake off the challenge from the equally unfancied Reliance foundation Young champs and win the title.
This shock win was not to herald a new era in Navi Mumbai football, however. Over the next couple of seasons, BBFC and ROW combined XI’s best players were gradually picked off by bigger teams.

As you know, the team has been constantly monitoring the global pandemic situation. Off late, the situation in many parts of the world has changed.

As per the statement received from the football association, the board has remained committed towards finding a way to conclude the season this year.

The Football Association has confirmed that there will be no professional football in India, including the BB vs ROW season 7, until at least October 31st as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Initially, fixtures in Vashi were suspended until the weekend of June 20-21 as a minimum , but this has been extended as the Navi Mumbai battles the pandemic, with more than 15,000 cases confirmed in the city.

The governing body released a statement on Tuesday, which said: "The BB vs ROW season 7, together with the NMHS and NMSA, understand we are in unprecedented times and our thoughts are with everyone affected by Covid-19.

"We're united in our commitment to finding ways of starting the BB vs ROW season 7 and ensuring all domestic and Indian club league and cup matches are played as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.
