Dayara Buyal is one the largest meadows or pa

sture land in the high altitude of Garhwal, Himalayas. During monsoon season,the local villagers leave their cattle at these bugyals inorder to provide them healthy green grass/herbs which may help them,keeping their cattle healthy. When they return to get their cattle back to home, as a gesture of gratitude to this enormously beautified magical land, the local people of the valley celebrates
"The Butter Festival". They believe that it is because of this beautiful place that their cattles are producing good quality of milk and in higher amount as well. By organizing this festival they also thank "The Almighty God" for the safety of their cattle. Events of attraction of the (Dayara Bugyal) :

The villagers and tourists especially visit this place during the festivity of Butter Holi that is held during the monsoons. Local dwellers wore there traditional outlooks and dance to the beats of orthodox pahari musical instruments called 'Dhol-Damao'. People also smear butter and milk on each others face to celebrate the festival. This is a festival impliciting enormous joy as well as dwellers marry making for celebrating this beautiful life. दयारा पर्यटन उत्सव समिति के शिष्टमंडल ने मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात कर दिया आमंत्रण
-इस साल दयारा बुग्याल में 16 अगस्त को मनाया जाएगा बटर फेस्टिवल
-दयारा बुग्याल करीब 11 हजार फीट ऊंचाई पर 28 वर्ग किमी क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ

देहरादून। दयारा पर्यटन उत्सव समिति के शिष्टमंडल ने मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से मुलाकात कर 16 अगस्त को आयोजित होने वाले बटर फेस्टिवल (अंढूडी उत्सव) का आमंत्रण दिया। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने समिति को भरोसा दिया कि वह आयोजन में शामिल होंगे। साथ ही कहा कि दयारा बुग्याल में पर्यटन विकास को लेकर महत्वपूर्ण योजनाओं पर काम चल रहा है। जल्द योजनाएं धरातल पर उतरेंगी।

जनपद उत्तरकाशी के भटवाड़ी ब्लॉक में करीब 11 हजार फीट ऊंचाई पर करीब 28 वर्ग किमी में दयारा बुग्याल स्थिति है। यहां रैथल समेत पँचगाई पट्टी के ग्रामीण हर साल पौराणिक एवं धार्मिक बटर फेस्टिवल (अंढूडी उत्सव) का आयोजन करते हैं। इस साल बटर फेस्टिवल का आयोजन 16 अगस्त को होगा। इस सम्बंध में दयारा पर्यटन विकास समिति के शिष्टमंडल ने गंगोत्री विधायक श्री सुरेश चौहान जी के नेतृत्व में मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी जी से मुलाकात कर आमंत्रण दिया। इस दौरान शिष्टमंडल ने मुख्यमंत्री जी को बटर फेस्टिवल को लेकर जानकारी दी। मुख्यमंत्री श्रू पुष्कर सिंह धामी जी ने समिति को भरोसा दिया कि वह आयोजन में शामिल होंगे। उन्होंने दयारा बुग्याल के विकास को लेकर पर्यटन से जुड़ी योजनाओं को धरातल पर उतारने के निर्देश सम्बन्धी विभाग को देने का भरोसा दिया है। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों ने मांग की कि दयारा बुग्याल को औली और गुलमर्ग की तर्ज पर साहसिक खेलों के लिए विकसित किया जाए। साथ ही यहां ट्रैकिंग, प्रकृति पर्यटन, ईको टूरिज्म और स्कीइंग की गतिविधियां शुरू कराने की मांग की है। मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी योजनाओं पर प्राथमिकता के साथ काम करने का भरोसा दिया है। इस मौके पर माननीय विधायक श्री सुरेश चौहान जी और समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री मनोज राणा जी ने माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी का आभार जताते हुए पर्यटन से जुड़ी योजनाओं की जानकारी दी। शिष्टमंडल में प्रधान रैथल सुशील राणा, प्रधान नाटीन महेंद्र सिंह पोखरियाल, पंच मालगुजार किशन सिंह राणा, बन्द्राणी सुंदर सिंह भंडारी, सोबत सिंह, सुरेश रतूड़ी, राजवीर रावत, सुरेंद्र कुमार, प्रवेश राणा, ज्ञानेंद्र राणा, मनमोहन सिंह, महेंद्र राणा, सुदर्शन सिंह चौहान, पृथ्वीराज सिंह राणा,मनवीर सिंह पंवार, राहुल राणा, यशवंत राणा।, वीरेंद्र राणा, पदम् सिंह, जगमोहन सिंह, विजय सिंह समेत अन्य मौजूद रहे।
