Last month, Theni witnessed the breathtaking 🏔️ Theni Western Ghats Run, a highlight of the TAMIL NADU STATE CROSS COUNTRY RACE 2023 organized by the dynamic duo - THENI DISTRICT ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AND THENI DISTRICT POLICE! 💥💥

💥💥 Exciting News! 💥💥

🏔️ The Theni Western Ghats Run, part of the Tamil Nadu State Cross Country Race 2023, was a spectacular success! 🌟 Organized by Theni District Athletic Association and Theni District Police, the event took place in the scenic beauty of Theni on 23rd December 2023.

🎽 Over 1500 enthusiastic competitors showcased their grit and determination in the Cross Country Race, paving the way for a thrilling competition. Athletes from various age categories (U 16, U 18, U 20) have earned the chance to represent Tamil Nadu in the National Cross Country Championship in Gaya, Bihar, this January 2024.

👏 A special thank you to Tmt. LATHA, Hon. Secretary TNAA, and the esteemed presence of SP and DSP Tmt. GEETHA who graced the occasion.

🏆 In the Boys category, the Overall Winners were GENISIS SPORTS ACADEMY, while THE NILGRIS claimed the Overall Runners title. For the Girls category, SPORTS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF TAMIL NADU (SDAT) secured the Overall Winners spot, with GENISIS SPORTS ACADEMY as the Overall Runners.

Congratulations to all participants, winners, and organizers for making this event a resounding success! 🎉🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
