Zone Babey Girls Display Athletic Excellence at Inter-School Meet
Babey (Thial Choughan), May 13:
Young athletes from across Zone Babey showcased remarkable sporting talent and enthusiasm during the U-14 and U-17 Girls Zonal Level Inter-School Competitions organised by the Office of the Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Babey, at Thial Choughan on Wednesday. The event witnessed spirited participation in athletics and cricket disciplines, reflecting the growing culture of sports and physical fitness among school students in the zone.
Held under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports, Smt. Anuradha Gupta, with the guidance of the District Youth Services and Sports Office Udhampur and overall supervision of ZPEO Babey, Sdr. Pushpinder Kour, the tournament drew participation from 116 students representing various Government institutions. Of them, 64 students competed in the U-14 category, while 52 students participated in the U-17 category.
The competitions witnessed energetic performances, sportsmanship, and impressive athletic talent displayed by the young participants.

The inter-school zonal level competitions concluded successfully with officials appreciating the dedication and sporting spirit of the participants, field staff, and organising committee. On the occasion, students and staff members also took the Nasha Mukt Bharat pledge, reaffirming their commitment towards building a drug-free and healthy India.
