The Inaugural Ceremony of the 11th International Film Festival of Shimla 2025 was held on 7th September 2025 at three venues – Gaiety Theatre (Shimla), Model Central Jail Kanda (Shimla), Model Central Jail Nahan (Sirmaur).

At the Gaiety Theatre, the Ceremony was Inaugurated by Celebrity Guest, Acclaimed Actress Chhaya Kadam, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Shri Anupam Kashyap (IAS), Joint Secretary (GAD), Shri Praveen Kumar Taak (IAS) & Festival Director & Managing Director Himalayan Velocity Sh.
