The Directorate of Dairy Development, Government of Meghalaya is celebrating National Milk Day 2021 on the 26th of November 2021. It is a great honor for the Department to be able to celebrate this year’s National Milk Day with the Celebration of 50 Years of achievement of Meghalaya Statehood.
For this we are organising various activities for Schools and College Students, mentioned below
1. Drawing Competition
Class1-V: Topic: “Dairy Products”
Class VI-VIII: Topic: “Dairy Supply Chain from farm to fork”
2. Essay Writing Competition
Class VI-VIII: Topic: “Milk Man of India”
Class IX-X: Topic: ”Contribution of Dairy Farming in Socio-economic Development”
Under-graduate (UG)& Graduate(G): Topic: “Sustainability in Dairy Farming”
3. Poster Making Competition
(Open Category, Chart paper size)
Topic: “History of Meghalaya in it’s 50th Year of Statehood with special features to dairy Development”
4. Within 2 Minutes Video Making Competition
Topic: “Milk Consumption”
Note:
1.Last date for offline submission of Drawing, Poster and 2 Minutes Video making Competition will be from 15th to 18th November 2021 before 4:30 PM to the Office of the Senior Dairy Officer, Shillong, Central Dairy Mawiong.
2. For Essay and Drawing Competition, participants can submit online to the email-d: [email protected] and the last date for submission is on the 18th of November 2021 before 4:30pm.
