It gives us immense pleasure to officially launch our event today, the ‘Jawali Jodi Run’ .
We had arranged a small promotional run of 5 km on the race track for this occasion. It was fun and a nice get together of sorts for the runners, as many people turned out in large numbers from far and wide.
The run commenced at 7 am today. The weather gods welcomed us with a light drizzle. The climate was electric and full of energy as the crowd which had gathered for the occasion took part in the promo run.
After the run, we had a function where our beloved runner and MLA , Shrimant Chhatrapati Shri Shivendrasingh Raje Bhosle officially inaugurated the event by cutting an unique cake which we had made specially for the occasion. He was accompanied by his better half , and one of our runners too - Vahinisaheb or Vedantika Raje Bhosle.
Everyone enjoyed the promotional run, and the climate in the morning today.
