Sakit was developed by Raja Sakat Singh during the Mugal-time in India. Today, the ruins of his fort are now the property of the Arche

ological Survey of India. There are also the ruins of many Havelis, which were constructed during British colonial rule of the area and really scenic place apart from that there are something which is also scenic like JAIN TEMPLE,other temple etc
As of the 2001 census , Sakit had a population of 6934. Males constituted 53% of the population and females 47%. Sakit has an average literacy rate of 54%, male literacy is 61%, and female literacy is 46%. 21% of the population is under 6 years of age.
