This post features the story of Team Rodz...
Team Rodz won the "Spirit of Enduro Karting" award for their heroic drive in the finals against all odds, finishing within 14 laps of the leader.
The finals started with a driver error during their formation lap leading to a burned clutch which meant that their kart was around 2 seconds slower a lap than the rest of the field. There was no way that their kart could keep up with the rest of the field. Many would have stopped. Some would have started moaning or complaining or just barging into others for the fun of it. But not this team or the lead driver, Adarsh Singh.
Adarsh Singh is an alumnus of the Enduro Student India competitions and showed everyone present what grit and perseverance look when personified. Adarsh always kept off the racing line for the faster karts, never disobeyed the blue flag and most importantly, NEVER GAVE UP.
They deserved the award and this feeling was echoed by all competitors as well!!
