Team GOAtronics personifies Gracious Professionalism
Team #24991*, with 15 members ranging from grades 6 to 11, represent Goa as brand ambassadors
At the helm is our proficient Team Manager, Akshaya mam, whose exceptional management skills ensure the well-being of each member and adeptly handle any situation with confidence.
Guiding us as our rookie Mentor is Mayur Sir, who firmly believes in the innate talent of every team member. He fosters an environment that provides equal opportunities to showcase their skills, emphasizing that talent cannot be hindered, allowing everyone to reach their potential.
Our team wholeheartedly embraces the ethos of gracious professionalism, an experience I'm thrilled to share. Among our members are Shyla from 6th grade and Kaushal from 9th grade, both contributing to our building and strategy teams. Embracing hands-on learning, they are acquiring programming skills from experienced team members. Recently, when the programming team was absent, Shyla and Kaushal stepped up, successfully coding claw movement despite their limited experience, demonstrating that learning by doing is the most effective way to learn.
Our rookie team comprises Amol, focused on drone shooter development and CAD design, Vedant contributing to the drive train and CAD design, Sarya adept at social media and building, and Avanish dedicated to strategy and CAD design. Despite being rookies, they don't feel inexperienced.
The most notable aspect of our team is the culture of knowledge-sharing, where every member contributes without favoritism. This inclusive approach fosters an atmosphere of gracious professionalism that enriches the collective experience.
In significant competitions like FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge), parents play a pivotal role in supporting their children's participation. In our group all parents assist by offering transportation, ensuring timely meals/ snacks ,providing moral support, and aiding with logistics such as acquiring necessary materials or equipment. Their encouragement significantly contributes to the team's morale and success.
