Fortius '13 Official Annual Sports Fest of GBPEC Like Wide, No Ball, Leg-bye, Overthrows, Free hit, etc. One bowler can bowl only 2 over maximum.

Fortius’ 2012-2013
General Rules for Events in Sports Festival

Cricket (Soft Ball)
8 Players per Team plus 2 extras (optional)
7 Over Match
All the rules of the normal Cricket match will be included. The different rules are:
Hitting ball out of the college campus directly or on the roof will be resulted as -4 runs. Last left batsman will not be allowed to bat alone. There is no rule of retirement

or runner of the batsman. Umpire’s decision is the last decision. Misbehavior or unnecessary arguing with the umpire/co-coordinators/faculty co-coordinators might lead to disqualification. Each team will be allotted 1 ball for inning to play. If the ball is lost, then 1 more ball can be allotted. But if that ball is also lost, then the team will have to pay for the ball. Football
5+2 players per team.
7 minutes per half for group stages and 10 minutes per half for Knock Out stages. Outsides only if the ball goes outside the Cage from the sides. Goalkick only if the ball goes outside the cage or it doesn’t rebound back quickly from the cage. If a defender keeps the ball behind the last line of the basketball court intentionally, it will be a corner. If a player is warned twice by the referee, he will serve a 1.5 minute penalty and if a keeper hand ball outside the D, one player from the team will have to leave the cage for the entire remaining match. The other team will be awarded an indirect free kick. Penalty will be taken from center and the player has to shoot in an open goal in two or less bounces. Goals can only be scored after the half-line. Basket Ball
Maximum 5+2 players per team.
8+8+8 minutes half per match. All the Standard Rules of Basket Ball will be applied. Badminton
Till Quarter Finals 20 points match
Semifinals Three sets of 15 points each
Finals Three sets of 20 points each
All the Standard Rules of Badminton will be applied. Table Tennis
Till Quarter Finals 15 points match
After Quarter Finals Three sets of 20 points each
All the Standard Rules of Table Tennis will be applied. Chess
25 minutes match, then Blitz. All the Standard Rules of Chess will be applied.

FOOTSAL concluded successfully today with some amazing matches, skills and strength on display over the past two days.

CSE IIyr were the deserving winners!
CSE IIIyr stood second.
and MAEII yr came third.
