⚡️ MGM to convert New York gambling facility into a full casino if licensed

🇬🇧 Brits don't want to line the pockets of gambling companies

➡️ A petition has appeared on the British Parliament's website demanding the abolition of solvency checks on players who gamble with British gambling companies.

➡️ Under the plan, players would have to show bank statements to the operator confirming that one can afford to place a bet and this would not be a problem for them. The statement may be required in advance if the amount wagered in a month exceeds £125 or £500 in a year.

➡️ Gamblers didn't like such an initiative and they rolled out a petition which has already gathered 40 thousand signatures. Incidentally, if the proposal gets 100 thousand votes, it will be tabled in Parliament.
