We have provided support for events with both private and public schools, colleges and other educational and science institutions. We provide public outreach events every opportunity we get. We also enc
ourage and coordinate the activities of other groups interested in astronomy. We feel it is our duty to give back to the society through our educational events, activities for the general public that are geared to family participation and focused on low or no cost so that all can afford to participate. In all cases, members volunteer their time, their own personal equipment, and cover their own personal expenses to put on a variety of activities. Our organization is dedicated to improving the public understanding of science through engagement in astronomy. We are an organization that offers the opportunity to share and learn about one of the most ancient and, at the same time, most contemporary of sciences. . For the beginner, the club has programs to assist you with visual observing and navigating the night sky. The primary goal of our organisation is to make the study of astronomy an experience that is both fun and rewarding.
