A journey that began at the NFDC Work-in-Progress Lab now arrives on the world stage.

Chevittorma (The Soul Whisperer), a Work-in-Progress Lab 2025 project, is set for its World Premiere at the 31st Busan International Film Festival, where it will screen in the A Window on Asian Cinema section.
Directed by Leo Thaddeus and starring Pauly Valsan and Dileesh Pothan among others, the Malayalam feature explores death, memory, faith and the possibility of redemption.

A proud moment for independent Indian cinema and another milestone for a project nurtured through the NFDC Work-in-Progress Lab.
