Sportivo'15 SPORTIVO is annual departmental sports fest of PVPPCOE. Academic brilliance is not the only thing students should aim for.

About Sportivo’15 :-
The main objective behind organizing the sports week of Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Prathisthan’s College of Engineering is to find the hidden talent in the students and make them an all-rounder. They should think of being an all-rounder. This year the sports fest was named as SPORTIVO, when translated sportivo means sports in Italian.The official mascot of SPORTIVO’15

was Wolf. SPORTIVO 2015 turned out to be a huge success. It was conducted from 20th Jan 2015 to 24th Jan 2015. Inauguration ceremony was held on 19th Jan 2015 and the chief guest was national level chess player Mr.Ajay Matkar. Welcome speech was given by general secretary Mr.Paresh Kasa. Oath was taken by sports secretary Mr.Sumin Raveendran. Principal Dr. Rajendra Sawant officially announced the inauguration of SPORTIVO’15. Vote of thanks was given by sports secretary Ms.Ulka Patil. There was active participation from all the departments.All the teams of boys and girls fought hard to win. Everyone participated with full enthusiasm and sportsmanship spirit.We found the best of talents in our college to form a future team to represent our college at university level. Department having highest score was Electronics and Telecommunication with a score 1795. Runner up department was Electronics with a score 1740. At 3rd position was the Computer with a score 1675. At 4th position was the IT with a score 1370. The class showing the best performance in boys was TE EXTC and in girls was BE ELEX. Finally SPORTIVO’15 successfully ended on 20th Jan under the leadership of our sports in-charge Mr. Rajesh Morey and under the perfect guidance and constant support of our Principal Dr.Rajendra Sawant.
