Empowering our community, one orange at a time.

Oranges have been a cornerstone of learning and livelihood for the people of Gnon Sangdong for years. Today, Chalum Dambroo had the privilege of expanding our expertise through a workshop organized by GP Pant Pangthang & MLAS, NGO Dzongu, under the DST Hub Project at Chalum Damroo Orange Festival .

We gained hands-on experience in value addition to Sikkim Mandarin, including crafting candles from orange peels. We were also introduced to various innovative products derived from Sikkim Mandarin, Large Cardamom, Cherry Pepper and ground apple opening up new avenues for entrepreneurship and growth.
