TARANG'16 is the 10th annual Cultural Festival of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. TARANG, is one of the most eagerly awaited events in the academic calendar of IIITDM and has evolved to be Central India's largest cultural festival. It is an avenue for the best talent from the top colleges across the country to battle it out in an array of cultural ev

ents. The scale of TARANG can be judged by the fact that it invites participation from more than 150 engineering colleges from across the country. The sheer number of more than 7000 footfalls create a buzz in the campus making it the most happening event during the period. Since 2007, the Festival has proved to be unarguably the most popular Festival in central India. Held annually in the month of October, TARANG has always drawn huge participation from students on account of the variety of events that are on offer and the challenges they provide. This year promises to bring forth a bigger and better TARANG with many more exciting events and activities online as well as during the fest lined up. Along with the fun elements, it serves the society by picking up a social cause every year(MUSKAN(2015) , message to the PM (2014)). It's not just a platform for the youth to show their talent but for the JAGRATI kids too to step up on the stage and shine like stars. From peaceful woods to Dystopia. Here is the saga behind the Apocalyptic Dawn.

The design and cultural communities lived in harmony until the Technical clique trespassed. Did the IIITDMJ Campus remain calmo? Both the clans under duress then after! The entrant sought to overpower the contemporaries of the serene, scenic woods of IIITDMJ, especially the Cultural Clan. Monopoly: the sole purpose, they sought! Intolerable was it becoming for the composed but not naïve Cultural contemporaries. The designers’ minds fathomed a way in! Furnishing weapons to the warriors of each clique, which embarked the looming war.

Let’s witness this outrage amongst the warriors of the coteries, turning the peaceful woods of IIITDMJ into a dystopia. Who will be the undisputed victor: THE INVICTA?
