Power Grid - Engaging and definitely power packed....

As the name suggests, the GAME gives you power, The power to supply the most cities with power when someone's network gains a predetermined size. In this game, players mark pre-existing routes between cities for connection, and then bid against each other to purchase the power plants that they use to power their cities.

However, on the flip side as you purchase plants, newer, more efficient plants become available, so by merely purchasing, you're potentially allowing others access to superior equipment.

Additionally, players must acquire the raw materials (coal, oil, garbage, and uranium) needed to power said plants (except for the 'renewable' windfarm/ solar plants, which require no fuel), making it a constant struggle to upgrade your plants for maximum efficiency while still retaining enough wealth to quickly expand your network to get the cheapest routes.

Game is for 2-6 players but ideal when played by 4-5 players. The game would require around 1 & half hours to be completed. The game has been an International bestseller winning several accolades including Gouden Ludo Winner in 2010.

Pandemic

Four diseases have broken out in the world and it is up to a team of specialists in various fields to find cures for these diseases before mankind is wiped out.

It is a co-operative strategy game where 2 to 4 players play to a common goal.

The game board depicts several major population centers on Earth. Taking a unique role within the team, players must plan their strategy to mesh with their specialists' strengths in order to conquer the diseases.

Pandemic requires the players to coordinate their efforts to win the game, specifically in gathering and sharing the necessary cards to discover cures while moving in coordination around the board and preventing Outbreaks in an efficient manner.

The pressure is always up - making sure every step anyone takes, the problem lurches forward. If one or more diseases spreads beyond recovery or if too much time elapses, the players all lose. If they cure the four diseases, they all win!
