Nikkan Dance Troupe Followers Nikkan dance trp is a creative dance troupe based on classical dance , which works for development and advancement of Creative Dance.

Nikkan is specially for constructing a path between classical dance and rabindrik dance.Troupe started with only 2 members and now it is a small troupe of 15 members. The Founder and the Director of the Troupe Miss Oindrila Bandyopadhyay launched her troupe on 19th May 2012 at Gyan Manch. Troupe's first production Tagore's Chandalika held on that day. As the two-membered Nikkan family formed on

November 2011 so the 1st Annual Programme held on 9th November2012 at Ashutosh Hall. Nikkan's Production on 9th November was "AJI E ANANDASANDHYA" & ."ANANDASANDHYA" was totally the thought and creation of Miss Bandyopadhyay based on classical based dances and rabindrik dances.

This time AGON 2019 welcomes Dr. Oindrila Banerjee for a workshop on the creative semiclassical dance form. Apart from being the founder and propagator of NIKKAN DANCE TROUPE which has added several feather to its cap over the past 5 years she is also a known face among the creative dancing circle and a critically acclaimed odissi dancer herself. So get ready to brush up your skills and learn or relearn the basics of our indigenous dance forms on this 8th of August .
Entry into the workshop is by prior registration only.
