YOUTH FACILITATION CENTRE:
ORGANISED BY KALIGHAT MILAN SANGHA, IN ASSOCIATION WITH VIVEK, Aisan Yoga Research Institute and NEHRU YUBA KENDRA- SOUTH KOLKATA (GOVT OF INDIA). Kalighat Milan Sangha has conducted various welfare programs for the socio – economic development of the youth and also sports and cultural programs for the common people since its inception in 1944. In 2012 the society has successfully and efficiently completed it’s 69th year of journey. Kalighat Milan Sangha (KMS) & Nehru Yuba Kendra-South Kolkata have come together for an initiative as part of their social responsibility initiative and youth development programs. The program intends to set up a Youth Facilitation Centre which will provide a platform for the development of youth. We have already started on a small scale, with basic computer literacy being imparted to 16 to 21 years aged youth from Higher Secondary schools and colleges across South Kolkata. We want to extend this initiative to entire Kolkata and every district of West Bengal in the near future. The purpose of this program is to impart life skill to the youth which will make them employable in this competitive scenario. We also want to take part in the government at ,both state and center, initiatives to develop the youth in the country. Objective / Goal: To identify the skill gap in the individual and make him employable which includes:-

One year Yoga & Naturopathy Certificate Course (WBCYN, Deptt. Of West Bengal), Regular Yoga-Pranayam-Meditation classes, Yoga patient Outdoor Clinic, Homeopathy Clinic. Career Awareness
Self-Awareness and Attitude
Leadership Skills
Career Planning Workshops
Career Counseling
