One year ago, on the closing panel talk of Chhayanat 2025, he lit up the room with his words of hope on cinema that are losing. This year too, on the closing day, our full house audience cheered every time his character appeared on screen, in the film "The Academy of Fine Arts"....

Today, we are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, whom we had hosted as a guest at Chhayanat and as he told all of us that he even wanted the festival to grow so much so that one day the next generation of filmmakers rise from here. May his soul rest in peace....
