Kolkata Christmas Festival has become an annual attraction in the city’s calendar. This year, 2021, it is scheduled to be held from December 20 to 30. Mamata Banerjee, at Allen Park on Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani), in the presence of representatives from all Christian denominations and members of all communities. Every year, Park Street comes alive with beautiful lighting, Christmas carols,

special choir performances, food stalls, and live music by the city's most popular performers and bands. However, like last year, in light of the ongoing pandemic restrictions, this year too there will be no food stalls on Park Street or in Allen Park. The good news is that the choirs and the live bands will be there, as usual, to enthrall us all with their music from 5-9 p.m. on December 21, 22 & 23, and after the inauguration on December 20. If you can't make it to Allen Park, no worries! You can log in and watch all the performances LIVE, right here. This unique celebration of the joy of Christmas is organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal, in association with Kolkata Municipal Corporation, the Apeejay Surrendra Group, and members of the Christian community. Our Story

Kolkata Christmas Festival has become an annual attraction in the city’s calendar. This year, it is being held from 16 to 30 December. It will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee at Allen Park on Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani) in the presence of representatives from all Christian denominations and members of all communities. The week long Festival will see Park Street come alive with beautiful lighting, Christmas carols, special choir performances, food stalls and live music by the Kolkata Police and Army bands as well as popular city bands. This unique celebration of the joy of Christmas is being organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal, in association with members of the Christian community and the Apeejay Surrendra Group.
