Art on a Roof is rooted in the belief that art is a form of communication and all artists need to be heard, that all art, artforms and artists deserve recognition and acceptance.
Awestruck and inspired by the many remarkable young talents around her, Tanisa Maitra was drawn to the idea of bringing them together and creating a common platform for them to connect. Not just with an appreciative audience but other artists as well.
She, along with her team of brilliant and enthusiastic college-going students, worked toward the aim of building such a platform enthused with positive energy, that would encourage creativity and exploration.
