A short film has only a few minutes to invite us into its world — and sometimes, that is all it takes to leave a lasting impression.

From intimate human stories to unexpected visual worlds, short-form cinema gives filmmakers the freedom to experiment, question, surprise and tell a story without wasting a frame.

Good conversations open up new possibilities.

We had a wonderful meeting with the team at INSD Kolkata, including Mr. Naveen Soni, Director, INSD Kolkata, and Dhiraj Soni, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, exchanging ideas around youth, design, creativity and F5IFF 2026.

There was a natural connection between the worlds of cinema and design — and some exciting thoughts about how young creative minds can become part of the festival journey.
