Hornbill Festival

Hornbill Festival Hornbill Festival held from Dec 1 till Dec 10 every year displays rich culture & traditions of Nagas All the tribes of Nagaland take part in this festival.

Hornbill Festival is held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama near Kohima, the state capital. The aim of the festival is to revive and protect the rich culture of Nagaland and display its extravaganza and traditions. The festival is appropriately called the "Festival of Festivals" and the "Window to Nagaland"

Also held alongside is a host of events like the popular Hornbill International Rock contest. Hornbill festival takes place from December 1 - 10 every year.
