The Army Day parade commemorates taking over the reins of the Indian Army as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief by Field Marshal K M Cariappa OBE on January 15, 1949, displacing the British predecessor.
This year for the first time the 75th Army Day parade was organised at Bengaluru which was reviewed by the Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC on 15 Jan 2023 at MEG Centre. The parade showcased the Indian Army's military capabilities and its aspirations to modernise and become a technologically advanced, lethal, and agile force. To motivate the nation's younger generations, adventure events like flypasts by helicopter and fighter jets, motorbike displays, paramotor flying, and combat-free falls were organised alongside marching units and military bands.
The parade was followed by an equipment display where niche indigenous technologies were showcased. EndureAir is proud to be a part of this historic event where our drone fleet was on display to various dignitaries which included top brass from the three services, military attachés from other countries, Gallantry award winners, Govt officials, Veterans, and families. Our efforts in continuously striving and achieving the desired combat requirements of the defence forces were appreciated.
