🪷At Kooram Goshala, caring for our cows goes far beyond feeding them.

🪷We bathe them with special soaps, use natural mosquito repellents, clean and fumigate the goshala daily, ensure clean drinking water throughout the year, and protect them from harsh weather.

🪷But one of our biggest responsibilities is medical care.

🪷Veterinary visits cost ₹500 per visit, apart from medicines and treatment expenses. With many cows under our care, these costs add up quickly.

🪷If you would like to support the medical care of our cows, please contribute via GPay at +91 97911 11307 or donate at: www.kooramgoshala.org/donate

🪷Every contribution helps us keep our cows healthy and cared for.

🪷Today is Ekadashi,

🪷A sacred day of devotion towards Maha Vishnu.

🪷Observing the Ekadashi fast helps us gradually reduce worldly distractions and turn inward through prayer, remembrance, and surrender. We are all born with the ultimate purpose of attaining Moksha, and amidst the journey of life, we often forget that higher purpose.

🪷Ekadashi gently reminds us of why we are here and helps us reconnect with our spiritual path.

🪷Tomorrow is Dwadasi, the day to complete the fast. Dwadasi Parana is considered just as important as Ekadashi itself and is observed with equal reverence.

🪷Please share this post with someone observing Ekadashi today.

🪷Want to feel more content and peaceful in life?

🪷Adopt a cow for a day, a week, or even a month at Kooram Goshala.

🪷A simple act of feeding and caring for Gomatha can transform the way you feel, think, and live. This is not transactional — it is deeply transformational.

🪷Supporting cows is supporting Dharma. And when Dharma is protected, it protects us in return.

🪷Your contribution helps provide fodder, shelter, medical care, and protection for our beloved cow family.

🪷Please share this post generously and help us care for these gentle souls with love and dignity.

🪷Adiyaen Ramanujadasan,

🪷This is how the day begins for us at Kooram.

🪷Every morning, Adiyaen takes one of our beloved Gomathas from Kooram Goshala to the Koorathazhwan Temple for darshan of the great Acharya, Koorathazhwan.

🪷It is more than a ritual. It is a blessing that fills our mornings and gives strength to the entire day.

🪷And if you closely observe the eyes of the Gomatha, you can truly see the sparkle and peace within them.

🪷Every cow in our goshala gets an opportunity for this seva. But somehow, it never feels like we are the ones deciding. It feels as though they come only with Krishna’s consent.

🪷Some days Adiyaen thinks it will be Pankajavalli’s (the name of our cow) turn, but Padmavathi (the name of our cow) will already be standing ready. That is simply how this divine experience unfolds.

🪷If this seva touches your heart, we humbly request you to support our goshala in whatever way possible. Every small contribution helps us care for these gentle souls with love and devotion.

🪷Adiyaen,
🪷Chinnu Ramanujadasan

🪷We are back in Kooram after the blessed days of the Parthasarathy Brahmotsavam at Triplicane Parthasarathy Temple.

🪷And we returned home to beautiful news — our goshala family welcomed a new calf during the Brahmotsavam. Moments like these fill our hearts with gratitude and joy.

🪷But this month has also been difficult for us financially.

🪷Due to continuous medical care for our cows and frequent vet visits during this scorching summer, a large portion of our funds has gone towards treatment and protection.

🪷We are now in urgent need of support for fodder and daily care.

🪷Every donation you make helps us feed our cows, care for them, and keep them safe through this intense heat.

🪷Please contribute at:
www.kooramgoshala.org/donate or alternatively Gpay at

🪷Help a cow receive its feed today.

🪷With hope,
Kooram Goshala 🙏

🪷At Kooram Goshala , we decided to emphasise Dwadasi Parana, which is as sacred as Ekadasi.

🪷And while many observe the Ekadasi fast, they may miss the Dwadasi Parana time.

🪷The story of Ambreesha highlights the importance of Dwadasi Parana. The King Ambreesha observed the Ekadasi fast with dedication. And Sage Durvasa visited him on Dwadasi day. King Ambreesha welcomed him and asked him to partake of the food, to which Sage Durvasa replied that he would join them after bathing; he went to bathe in the river.

🪷King Ambreesha was waiting, and the Dwadasi Parana time was about to end. Caught in a dilemma because he can't take his food without his guest, and not being able to complete the Dwadasi Parana on time will make his Ekadasi vow improper.

🪷So King Ambreesha sipped water during the Dwadasi Parana time. When the sage arrived, he thought the king had broken the fast before serving him and became furious, believing the king had insulted him. In anger, he created a fiery demon to attack Ambarisha.

🪷But Lord Vishnu protected his devotee. The divine Sudarshana Chakra destroyed the demon and chased Durvasa himself across the universe. Finally, the sage surrendered to Ambarisha and realised the king’s humility and devotion.

🪷Ambarisha prayed for Durvasa’s safety, and peace was restored.

🪷Happy Ekadasi and Dwadasi Parana

🪷Adiyaen Ramanujadasan,

🪷Our heartfelt gratitude to every Bhagavatha, donor, volunteer, and well-wisher who participated in the Thadiyaradhanai kainkaryam during the glorious Parthasarathy Perumal Brahmotsavam.

🪷These ten days were pure bliss.

🪷Every single day began and ended with the divine darshan of Parthasarathy Perumal. To walk behind Him in the streets of Thiruvellikeni, to witness the utsavams, to serve Bhagavathas, and to listen to kalakshepams from great Vidhwans — all of it felt like an anubhavam beyond this world.

🪷For a few days, it truly did not feel like we were living in 2026. The devotion and bhakti surrounding Perumal made us feel connected to a timeless sampradayam that continues to live strongly through His devotees.

🪷Thank you to everyone who shared our posts, supported the kainkaryam monetarily, donated items, and helped us serve countless Bhagavathas through Thadiyaradhanai.

🪷Our hearts are full.

🪷And now, we return to Kooram — back to our beloved cow family, who for sure are waiting for us.

🪷Adiyaen,
Ramanujadasan Chinnu and
Andal.

09/05/2026

We have reached the final 2 days of the glorious at , and these days have truly been out of this world.

From performing Thadiyarathanai kainkaryam, to listening to the beautiful kalakshepams of Vidhwans from different places within the Sri Vaishnava sampradayam, every moment has been filled with grace.

And yes, meeting Bhagavathas round the clock has been a blissful experience beyond words.

Adiyaen Aandal and Chinnu Ramanujadasan warmly invite all of you to experience the Parthasarathy Perumal Brahmotsavam. You may also stay at Ramanuja Koodam, rest peacefully, and partake in prasadam during the utsavam.

We humbly request generous donors and devotees to participate in this sacred Thadiyarathanai kainkaryam and become a part of this Bhagavata Seva.

Please also check our previous post on Thadiyarathanai and share it with anyone who may benefit from seeing it.

Adiyaen,
Chinnu Ramanujadasan
