This target isn’t about the bullseye. It’s about understanding a springer. 🎯
Spent another session with my Webley Tomahawk springer using 10.34gr pellets, shooting freehand from 10 meters.
What stood out wasn’t the score.
It was the repeated shots going through the same holes.
For a heavy spring-piston rifle shot standing without support, that tells a bigger story:
the rifle is stabilizing
the pellet is matching the shot cycle
and the Tomahawk is starting to repeat its behavior consistently
The scattered shots?
That’s mostly me fighting:
body sway
breathing
weight fatigue
and the challenge of holding a 3.6kg springer steady
But the overlapping holes prove something important: 👉 the rifle itself is capable of much tighter groups than the overall target suggests.
The more time I spend with the Tomahawk springer Webley & Scott India , the more I realise: this rifle rewards patience, rhythm and consistency far more than brute force or speed.
And honestly… that’s what makes springers addictive.
