Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has added another landmark achievement to its journey of excellence by securing top rankings at the prestigious Sagar Aankalan Awards, presented by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India.
The awards were received by Shri P. L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, from the Hon’ble Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, during a special ceremony in Mumbai.

Recognized for outstanding overall performance in handling Dry Bulk Cargo among ports handling 5 Million Tonnes or more, reaffirming Paradip Port’s position as India’s leading bulk cargo gateway.
🥉 3rd Rank in Container Cargo Performance
Awarded for outstanding overall performance in handling Container Cargo among ports handling less than 0.5 Million TEUs, highlighting the port’s growing strength in diversified cargo operations.
💡 Driving Excellence in India's Maritime Sector
These recognitions reflect Paradip Port’s continued focus on operational efficiency, infrastructure optimization, logistics facilitation, digital transformation, and customer-centric services.
