Some experiences elevate the journey. This was one of them. 🙏🎬

When I saw him as Shiva in 1990, I was a school going kid.. that legendary act of taking out the chain from a cycle! Ufff!!! Did I ever imagined that I would work with him? Or when I met him as the director of Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival few years back, did I know this to happen?

Nothing is impossible if the heart is willing. Dream big, work smart, dedicated and stay hungry humble… ❤️ Thank you universe 🙏🏻

Back in Hyderabad after a Bengal trip — and the ilish cravings hit hard with the monsoon! 🌧️🐟
While daily Bengali meals are routine at home, a real bhuribhoj needs ilish bhapa & bhetki paturi, right?

And boom — our friend Nandita launches a grand Bengali feast at Hyatt Place, Banjara Hills. From ilish, bhetki, tangra to dhokar dalna, muri ghonto — even rare East Bengali dishes. Total jackpot!

Catch me there this weekend. And hats off to Nandita — from scratch to becoming a Bengali food curator in Hyderabad. Respect! 🙌

I’m delighted to share that ‘অহনা’ (Ahana – The Light Within), my first Bengali feature film, has been officially selected for the competition section of the Indo German Film Week 2025 in Berlin! 🇮🇳🎥🇩🇪

The film was screened at the iconic Babylon Movie Theatre on 7th July and will have its second screening on 12th July at 3:15 PM, followed by an interactive session with our talented director Promita Bhowmik, who is presenting the film at the festival.

To all my friends in Berlin and across Germany – I warmly invite you to join us and be part of this beautiful cinematic journey. Your presence would mean the world! 🙏
