Hyderabad National Book Fair is a monumental exhibition of Books organized every year in the beautiful city of Hyderabad. The Society was founded in 1985 by renowned book publishers with the main objective of organizing Book Exhibitions in the city. The exhibition provides an outstanding forum for publishers, book-sellers, authors, translators, writers, poets, artistes, performers, students, reade

rs and academicians. It is our constant endeavour to make the exhibition an intellectual treat, providing an occasion to bring to the public and to enlighten them with the latest publications in all aspects of literature. Events at the Hyderabad National Book Fair include Book launches, cultural programs, stage performances, introduction of books and writers from the exhibition as a platform, panel discussions, workshops, felicitation of personalities for their contribution to literature and several activities for school and college students which will be recognized by the Society with awards. Over 300 stalls, housing literature in all major Indian Languages from various cities across the nation will be the building blocks of the exhibition. Leading Daily News Papers, The National Book Trust, Kendra Sahitya Academy Publication Division, Telugu Academy, Telugu University Publishing Units are a few of the renowned publishers who are regular participants at the exhibition. With a wide range of subjects on display, the exhibition will serve as a potpourri of different genres ranging from progressive literature to fantasy, puranas to medicine, and children's literature to young adult fiction, serving people of all age groups. Educational Institutions interested in participating at the exhibition can obtain all required details from the Book Fair Office maintained at the venue of the exhibition. టెక్నాలజీ, ఈబుక్స్​, ఆన్​లైన్​ ​ ఎంత పెరిగినా.. పుస్తకాలకు ఆదరణ తగ్గదని హైదరాబాద్​ బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ సొసైటీ గౌరవ సలహాదారులు ఎమ్మెల్సీ కోదండరాం అన్నారు. ఇంటర్నెట్​ కాలంలో కూడా పుస్తకాలను చదివే పాఠకులు నిరంతరం పెరుగుతూ ఉంటారని చెప్పారాయన. సోమవారం సోమాజిగూడ ప్రెస్​ క్లబ్ లో 37వ హైదరాబాద్​ బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ గౌరవ సలహాదారులను బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ కమిటీ సభ్యులు ప్రకటించారు. జస్టిస్ బి. సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి, ఎమ్మెల్సీ ప్రొఫెసర్​ కోదండ రాం, సీనియర్​ ఎడిటర్​ రామచంద్రమూర్తి, ప్రొఫెసర్​ రమా మెల్కొటే బుక్​ ఫెయిర్ సొసైటీకి గౌరవ సలహాదారులుగా ఉంటారని ​ బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ అధ్యక్షులు యాకూబ్ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన ఈ మీడియా సమావేశంలో తెలిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ కమిటీ సభ్యులతో కలిసి 37వ బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ లోగోను ఆవిష్కరించారు. అనంతరం ఎమ్మెల్సీ కోదండ రామ్​, రామచంద్రమూర్తి రమా మెల్కొటే మాట్లాడుతూ.. హైదరాబాద్​ బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో గొప్ప మహోత్సవం అని, సాహితీ ప్రియులు, పాఠకులు, విద్యార్థులు, యువత, ఎంతో మంది ఈ పుస్తక మహోత్సవం కోసం వేచి చూస్తుంటారని అన్నారు. రచయితలను, పాఠకులను కలిపే వేదికగా బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​ ప్రముఖ్యాన్ని సంతరించుకుందని చెప్పారు. టెక్నాలజీ ఎంత పెరిగినా.. పుస్తకాలకు ఆదరణ తగ్గడం లేదని చెప్పారు. వందలాది పబ్లిషింగ్​ సంస్థలు ఈ మహోత్సవంలో పాల్గొంటాయని, ప్రజలు, పాఠకులు ఎక్కువ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని విజయవంతం చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. అనంతరం బుక్​ఫెయిర్​ సెక్రటరీ వాసు మాట్లాడారు. డిసెంబర్​ 19 నుంచి 29 వరకూ హైదరాబాద్​లోని ఎన్టీఆర్​ స్టేడియంలో నిర్వహించబోయే బుక్​ ఫెయిర్​కు ప్రజలు తరలిరావాలని కోరారు. సందర్శకుల కోసం అనుకూలమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. ప్లాస్టిక్​ నిషేధాన్ని పాటిస్తూ.. సందర్శకుల కోసం టికెట్లతో పాటు పుస్తకాల కోసం ‘సంచి’ని ఇస్తామని పేర్కొన్నారు. రచయితలు, పబ్లిషర్లు తమ స్టాళ్లను ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. పదిలక్షలకుపై పైగా జనం విజిట్​ చేస్తారని తెలిపారు. విద్యార్థులకు తమ ఐడీ కార్డులతో ఉచిత ప్రవేశం కల్పిస్తున్నామని ఆయన వివరించారు. వివరాల కోసం 9490099081 ను సంప్రదించవచ్చని చెప్పారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కోశాధికారి నారాయణరెడ్డి, వైస్​ ప్రెసిడెంట్లు కె. బాల్​ రెడ్డి, శోభన్​ బాబు, జాయింట్​ సెక్రటరీలు కె. సురేశ్​, ఎం. సూరిబాబు పాల్గొన్నారు.
